With the water taken out
This is the dry-matter basis, with 11% moisture removed. Foods of differing moisture can only be compared this way.
| Nutrient | As printed | Dry matter |
|---|---|---|
| Crude protein | 24.0% | 27.0% |
| Crude fat | 10.0% | 11.2% |
| Crude fibre | 6.8% | 7.6% |
| Crude ash | 10.7% | 12.0% |
| Calcium | 1.0% | 1.1% |
| Phosphorus | 1.0% | 1.1% |
| Carbohydrateest. | 37.6% | 42.2% |
Carbohydrate is not printed on the label. It is what remains after subtracting everything else from 100, so every other error collects here — read it as an order of magnitude.

What to feed alongside
Being dry food, little water comes in with the meal. Keep fresh water available, and consider adding wet food on top.
